MR: Tell us a little about Pape. Who are you and what all do you do?
PAPE: Rap artist born and raised in Mobile, Alabama.I rap and I hustle all I know is make a way.
MR: When did you 1st start getting into producing music and why did you pursue such a career?
PAPE: I been fucking with it since I was knee high but never took it serious til I was 21/22 years old.Hearing people say they can relate to your music makes you feel you gotta purpose.
MR: Im sure there were pitfalls on your way to success. What was the driving factor that made you want to pursuit this industry harder to get the type of success you saw yourself achieving?
PAPE: Never quit.Keep pushing,grinding til you get where you going and than push even harder once you make it.Use all the doubters as motivation.
MR: What is the hardest thing about being a new & upcoming artist?
PAPE: Getting people to listen to you who dont know you or your story.
MR: Which artist(s) do you draw the most inspiration from? Any specific song(s)?
PAPE: Future seeing where he came from to where he is now only makes me believe that I to can do the same.”4 My People” because I do this for my family and circle friends who’ve been here through it all.
MR: Are you currently working on any projects? If so, what are they?
PAPE: Just dropped my latest single “Numbers” which is on Spinrilla,Mymixtapez and Mixtapeattic.Im currently working on a mixtape entitled “Industry Invasion” coming this summer on all social outlets.
MR: Take us through your creative process; how long does it take you to formulate a concept for a beat, start piecing it together and then eventually finish it?
PAPE: 30 minutes tops.Sometimes 10-15 mintues depending on the beat.
MR: Which artists do you want to work with in the future?
PAPE: Rick Ross,Future,Gucci,Dolph,Freddie Gibbs to name a few.Locally anybody who tryna do this shit foreal so we can make it out and put the city on the map.
MR: Are you interested at all in dabbling in other genres producing wise?
PAPE: I write alot of music acapella. I wanna make beats.
MR: What makes you different from all other artist? Why are you going to be the next hot sensation?
PAPE: I sound like Pape and nobody style I got my own style.I have the talent,drive and determination.
