Kevin Durant: First Time NBA Champion and Finals MVP

Miami Rave kdddd

Welcome back, Golden State Warriors! After being slandered for loosing the 2016 NBA Finals when they blew a 3-1 lead they have redeemed themselves and are once again NBA champions.  In a very heated and feisty Game 5 Kevin Durant and company finally put away the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120. Some people thought Lebron could out due himself from last year and make magic happen again in these finals. But KD proved to be too much with 39 points going 14 for 20 from the field.

A lot of people criticized Kevin Durant when he decided to leave Oklahoma City Thunder and go play for Dub Nation. People burned his Thunder jersey, gave him the nickname snake and even ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith called his decision “the weakest move in basketball history. ” There were twitter fingers that couldn’t help but continue to hate on the success of Kevin Durant.

But all of the hate he’s received seems trivial now as he basks in the glow of being a first time NBA champion and MVP.

But there were other people who couldn’t help but think about what Russell Westbrook, KD’s old superstar teammate must be feeling right now.

Well, now that the basketball season is over I guess it’s time to start watching baseball. Well maybe not, but please stay tuned to Miami Rave for more sports news!
