CBD use and mental health are both subjects that are still heavily stigmatized, primarily due to a lack of knowledge and understanding about them. Although vastly different, with one being a chemical compound, and the other being an umbrella term for various psychological and emotional conditions and disorders, there’s an odd similarity too.

Contrary to psychosis, PTSD responds well to cannabis. Both CBD and THC help combat stressful memories and triggers, manage anxiety and depression, and fight insomnia and night terrors. CBD is highly effective on its own too, but THC compounds can also be helpful in allowing you to relax.
However, it’s important to understand that CBD cannot become the only treatment you seek for mental health disorders and issues. You need a holistic, comprehensive approach that may include counseling and therapy, as well as medication.
