Miami’s Rap & Hip-Hop scene has desperately needed a revamp in the last couple years but there has been an inability to foster the talent the city brings. Backroom Sessions MIA has been putting in the time to make sure No Artist Gets Left Behind as they continue to team up with venues across the city. Catering to locals and curating every event to the audience, the collaborations between Backroom Sessions and Businesses in South Florida has done its part in cultivating the culture while creative a community of creative collectives.
In its inaugural “Hip-Hop Pop Up”, Backroom Sessions teamed up with the Drinkhouse Fire & Ice Lounge. This combination of energy allowed for artists to bring the HEAT while laying down those CHILLING flows we all love.
BRS (Backroom Sessions), alongside Fire & Ice Lounge owner Nicole Pritchett, joined forces last month in order to innovate the music scene while renovating the method in which it is approached.
The night consisted of Rap, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Trap, & Soul in a blend of local energy that highlighted the talent residing right here at the “Bottom of The Map” There were also Art Activations in the form of canvases across the walls as well as live body painting to further catalyze the night of artistic auras as well as a Sparkling Ice Sponsorship: 3 Signature Cocktails alongside D’USSÉ
